Up until now I have not run a boot drier. I think I need to move forwards into that world. Who has a recommendation for an effective unit that I could potentially pack up for a trip to camp?

Love the PEET Dryer. Packs pretty small. Not designed for waders but I’ve dried waders over night on it. 5 years and still running.

The Peet dryers are the best option. Several models to choose from. I prefer the unit you can run 2 pairs of boots on. It has both cool and hot settings and you can adjust the length of time you want the unit to run.

No argument against the Peet but I have a field and stream that has been good for about 10years now.

Another vote for Peet.
I also have some little dryers called Hot Rodz that I've owned for 30 years. They look like a couple half sticks of dynamite with electrical cords coming out of them. Stick them in the boots, plug it in and the rods warm up. Works pretty well. I doubt there is a more compact option out there. I don't see anything like them on a quick Google search. Probably not made anymore.

A regular household dehumidifier works better than any marketed boot drier in my experience. Sucks the moisture right out.
