Boswell’s New Flex Review

Wondering, for those that like to run dual bridges (for safety / redundancy / or whatever reason), if you had bridges for both the inner and outer loops, and adjusted to your liking, would the weight / force be better (maybe evenly) distributed across the four one inch webbings "the frame"?
Not an engineer just asking, and wondering if someone actually played with it.
This is exactly what I was thinking, any comments from experienced users on this.

No one has mentioned Boswell's flex is in Predator camo? They made a one off custom one for him? I would imagine that adds to the sting.

I have one in predator camo also. I think it was offered in the beginning of the run.

There's three generations of the flex. The first had a rubber backing. The second had a codura backing. The third is what's on the website now. They discontinued Predator camo late during the second edition (around the same time they stopped offering the Kite). Did they bring it back in the first run of the third edition? The latest offering? I don't remember that being the case. But I could be wrong.

Pretty sure they had extra material they were trying to use up in between some of the generations. Also, I once inquired about a different color for a saddle and Debbie was willing to try and accommodate that for me, even though it didn’t show a certain color/pattern for the particular saddle I was looking at.

All I know is that owning the KF for 2 seasons, then getting a Merlin.. it didn't even come close to the same comfort. The merlin was terrible with hip pinch. Video was spot on.
Moved on to cruzr and couldn't be more pleased.

The Cruzr XC is liked my most people. Why, comfort.

Cruzr XC is my choice...... I have tried them all pretty much. I like the flex too though. I don’t like the cupping that the Tethrd Saddles produce. I prefer more of a hammock feel than a cupping feel. I like for the saddle pressure to “feather” out under my thighs not have an abrupt cut off.

I received a Merlin as I used to be on staff and instead of being selfish and keeping it for myself I did a giveaway on Instagram
Boy did I get scolded for “not telling them I was going to give it away so they could send it to another member”
That was good PR for them. He shouldnt have blocked Boswell for the review

That’s bonkers! You did em a favor doing that giveaway!

That is exactly what I have found with the Merlin. All though the inner loops aren't hooked up, like you have in the pic. The 2 rows do a better job of distribution of weight and pressure for me, then with the flex.

Even though you’re really only sitting on 1 inch webbing? Because the inner loop has no tension on it

Yes even though it's not full tension. But because the structure of the saddle and being sewn into the mesh, it actually has a good amount of pressure being distributed to them. I was surprised. If there was a way to tie in the inner loops to the bridge, would be interesting to see if anything changes to the comfort anymore.

Guess you could attach them to each other some way. Or run two bridges
