Looking for recommendations on a bow case that I can fly with for hunts out west.
I’ve looked at SKB and also some Legend stuff but am undecided as of right now. All recommendations would be welcome!

I have an SKB iSeries.
It’s not fun to tote around everywhere, but it’s great for traveling.

The Pelican bow case is a buy once cry once own for life case. Also if you are mil/LEO/First Responder you can order at a thirty percent discount which saves about $80 or so dollars.

It rolls. It’s water proof. It’s life time warranty. I put off paying for it but finally got it for an overseas trip to Africa. Knowing how safe my bow and arrows and accessories were in it for travel from Georgia to France and France to Africa made the price totally worth it.

I’ve traveled to several spots and the SKB worked and held up flawlessly thru the abuse of the airlines. The Pelican would also be a great choice. Don’t skimp on the protection of your bow!!

I have the SKB and had a Mathews helium in it. It flew great and let’s me safely store arrows in it as well. However, I switched to a spot hog fast Eddie with the hard mount and now my bow doesn’t quite fit. I know I could just take it off and remount it but I want to avoid that. I am picking up a new bow next week. Hopefully it fits as is.

I have a Plano pillar lock. Cheaper than the above, light, and has room inside to pack stuff. SKB is heavy and not much room. Lakewood would eventually get destroyed by baggage handlers.

My Prime and Fast Eddie fit pretty well in there, but I switched to a Fast Eddie XL so that I could take it on and off easier to fit into my other case.
