Bow hanger

HYS + Hero.
Also use my hero on my saddle molle loops to carry my platform up the tree. Multipurpose.

Does anyone make a hook like the muddy or hme accessory strap that is open on the bottom? That would be slick to slide into the Tethrd strap.

Get a pack of these landscape stakes at your nearest home improvement store. Basically flat galvanized steel. I took one and bent it to the size I needed for my bow. Made a J hook out of it. It slides over the strap for my stuff to hang. No sharp edges. I wrapped mine in electrical tape and then some of that camo wrap fabric stuff. So it quiet, rigid, and made to fit my bow. Ok, now, don't laugh. Just tinkering with a Gorilla Tie while watching TV. They're available lots of places including Amazon. This one is the 39" model. In the attached photo, where my thumb and forefinger are will be threaded through a couple rings on my OCB accessory hanger's strap. The ends will then be bent down to hold in place. Until then it will be stowed in my backpack. The thing is practically weightless. It's totally flexible and covered in a very soft rubber of some kind. I think I just made my next bow hanger! Gonna try it next time out. Very confident it's gonna work great. Roomier than the hook I've been hanging my bow on and the soft cushy covering means silent and protective against scratching bow limb. And the lime green may look kinda gaudy to you and me but deer don't perceive color as we do. I've nearly been trampled by deer while wearing blaze orange! Just grey to them. It will be easier for me to see in low light. They are available in other colors if desired but I'm not concerned about it, myself.

UPDATE: OK, now you can laugh. Despite my high hopes for this, I am in the saddle right now and back to old bow hanger. The Gorilla Tie simply isn't rigid enough. Sags under weight of bow. That won't stop me from tinkering with the idea some more. Maybe two of them twisted together somehow. Would still be zero weight. I'll update if I come up with a working model. Ya never know until you try. Happy hunting!

What I have works fine. I just couldn't resist the need to tinker! Experimenting to find something ultra light.

New design created by wrapping another 39" Gorilla Tie tightly around what I had. Works like a champ.

Very Dr. Seussian.
I guess it is, isn't it! Does work very well though. Soft, silent, practically weightless. As far as the colorfulness, deer don't care. Just grey to them.

I don’t care about the color of the Gorilla ties. What is driving me crazy is your cock vane facing the riser. In my 30+ years of archery, I have shot cock vane: up, down and away from the riser. Never shot with it facing riser. Ok, I’ll head back to therapy now.

Yeah it is unusual but with the Revolution Rest I have on there it works the best. I've been known to march to the beat of a different drummer from time to time anyway!!

Matches the bowstring!!!
Which matches my vanes! I like my vane colors for finding an arrow in the grass. So when I ordered my new Winners Choice bowstring and had my choice of color combinations, I thought, heck, why not!

I’m going to try the kydex j hook. I bought them on amazon and will need to modify a tiny bit to make it work. The hook may not work due to the quiver mount. If that’s the case I’ll try the hero clip. For my quiver I going to try a j hook with a command strip to attach it. That way I should be able to remove it after the season.

Bow Hanger - ON Your Tree Faster Than Your Old Screw-in - The ONLY Bow Hanger Legal to USE ON All State and Federal Lands - NO More Screw in Hook ! https://www.amazon.com/dp/B075VSXX4G/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_2B.CFb0AA7PGC

For whatever reason I keep coming back to this one. I just love this thing. You can kind of cam it down like a lot of tree climbing stuff now a days and it holds even tighter. What I like about it is it holds your weapon away from the tree just enough so it’s not laying on the trunk. Works in any scenario I’ve sat in. Holds the rifle just as good as the bow.

I did change the strap out to a generic aftermarket tree stand strap so I didn’t have to deal with the bulk and noise of the ratchet it comes with. Actually just thought I need to try the OCB I have and see how that works.

I have the geat hanger that he sent me and its awesome!

Backwoods mobile gear Amsteel gear holder and a modified tool belt hook to hold the bow. Took some dremel work but it is light and hangs loose enough that bow removal is easy.

I have a kwikee kwiver on the mount for an HHA sight. If I did this, then I would put it under the quiver mount.
