What quiver do you use? I considered up grading mine! I’d prefer a 3 or maybe 4 arrow. I personally don’t see a reason for anymore than that unless I was gonna be gone 2 weeks in back country. Even then, that’s questionable.

I use the Tight Spot. gotta find it on sale though. i think i got mine 40% off and it was still pricey. My cheap apex one works good too. TightSpot is way more adjustable though. Super lightweight and well built.

No advice on quivers I hate them all. Keep going back to qwikee it seems like.

But I will offer two anecdotes related to how many arrows to bring on a hunt.

I shot four arrows at the same elk, that essentially never moved, before connecting. I only had 4 arrows in my quiver. That unsuccessful full story can be found in the unsuccessful hunts forum.

I shot 3 times at does (dumb details not worth wasting your time with here), before shooting biggest bow buck with 4th shot. I only had four arrows in my quiver.

I carry 6 arrows now. And the ability to sharpen broadheads in the field. Twice is a pattern…

I use a cheap quick disconnect Octane or whatever. I pull it off in the stand, so I’m not spending much money on an arrow holder. Even out West, I’m pulling the quiver off before shooting.

I shot 3 arrows at a buck 3 yrs ago. All 3 hit but I had to wrestle him and stab him through his armpit. Always bring 5 now and practice a lot more lol.

I use a 5 arrow Tite Spot with a Nite Ize gear tie wrapped around both quiver uprights to form a loop for hanging while I’m saddle hunting. I’ve shot a few bucks while enroute to my saddle/stand location especially during the rut. It’s good to know you have a stable and quiet quiver setup when you don’t have time to remove it. I also like to carry one arrow with a judo point in case I see a grouse.Tite Spot came out with a new model this year that has even more up/down adjustability and finally incorporates a flexible hanging loop. It’s also $200 retail. I also have and sometimes use an Option Archery Quivilizer which is very light but robust as well and it gives you many attachment options. One could easily incorporate a gear tie for a hanging loop on it as well. This is a pricey quiver too but if you think about how expensive some arrows are starting to become you don’t want anything to fall out and you want the arrows protected to some extent throughout the season.

Also, i should add i will never ever do that again. nobody should... Really bad idea. I felt sick to my stomach that i put a bad shot on him. (spined then one-lunged). He was draggin his back legs and i thought i was doing the right thing. I tried getting a tangled doe out of a batting cage the next season and she whooped my arse baddd. deer are way stronger than me.
