Bowstring?

At $60 I'd be in on the catfish. How long you guys getting out of them? My factory strings typically last 4 years before starting to fray, not sure who makes them for bow tech.
The cost of some strings is rediculous

I don't know if you could get them for $60... My catfish were $85 (1 string, 1 control cable, 1 buss cable with a Y-yoke on one end), 2 colors and a white pinstripe between them.

I sent an email to Mike from Catfish Customs very early this morning and he replied before 07:00, that's pretty impressive right there.

I've used catfish before. Now I use a local guy here in VA, John's Custom Archery. He has a Facebook page. Great guy, tell him what you need and he'll give you lots of options. Also does trad strings and I think xbow also. Think he does custom painting.

Gotcha. I just went to there website for a quick check and seen that price but did not put in any details. The last bow I had that I had long enough to wear a string out on I bought winners choice at $60, now there up to $140 sheeesh.

For anyone following the thread about how twist direction of the string affects rotation of the arrows, Mike from Catfish said he can twist the strings counterclockwise for the natural arrow rotation to be clockwise. One of the 1nestly videos says Rogue twists all their strings counterclockwise as well.

I would still like to see conclusive evidence that string twist direction is the sole determining factor in natural shaft rotation direction. I'm not 100% convinced that it is...

This video was enough evidence for me to order one from Catfish and find out for myself. Based on Mike's response, he seemed to agree with it.
