Within 2 weeks of joining SH I was told I was climbing unsafe and I was going to get injured or die. Still here and healthy after a year climbing.

One sticking updated. @Cbigbear would still be one sticking if he used a scout on a EWO feather weight stick with a two step sewn aider from @DanO and a cam cleat and the Cain method of holding the stick against the tree and rappelling with Oplux and a safeguard.

Then one sticking still rocks
Oh and back up the safeguard with a French Prussic because the Oplux is off spec for the safeguard.

Much of that is new

Make sure you use a new Cruzr XC when you one stick because it is new. Or a phantom or a TX5 or a latitude or all the other new saddles that everyone covets or wait for the Eberhardt sling cause it has to be the best. Or make your own out of yellow webbing or ask for Sally and just keep her.
Sally is a saddle, or so they claim.

Man all that sounds complicated!!!! The platform is where it’s at. Although you guys made me cave on the rappelling. I tried to stay true to the original but couldn’t hold out.

If people only knew the crap I got when I put out the one sticking method - I was a wreckless, weirdo, going to kill myself & anyone who tried the method. O how times have changed no negative comments on “no sticking” other than some guys on here don’t like the name!!!

Still no sticking with a RCH not a saddle - don’t burn me at the stake!!!!

I know the feeling well about being told I was reckless. I should be dead by now.

I like your climbing method but I still can claim to do "no sticking" since I climb SRT. :D

I did notice some rookie " how to " vids but the hunting celebrities doing it is the best

To my knowledge you are the OG of one stickin'. I still have not had time to get out and play around with platform climbing. I need too soon, I've been intrigued about it since we discussed it. Glad you finally got on the rappeling train. You use a one step or two step aider for the platform climb? Where/how do you attached the aider?
