I dont see where both your straps are connected. One end is connected to the versa button but the other end is hidden and doesnt appear to be connected to the Versa button.

It is going to the buckle which is bolted to the stick.

Man all that sounds complicated!!!! The platform is where it’s at. Although you guys made me cave on the rappelling. I tried to stay true to the original but couldn’t hold out.

If people only knew the crap I got when I put out the one sticking method - I was a wreckless, weirdo, going to kill myself & anyone who tried the method. O how times have changed no negative comments on “no sticking” other than some guys on here don’t like the name!!!

Still no sticking with a RCH not a saddle - don’t burn me at the stake!!!!

Well I tried one sticking because of you and changed it because of others on this site. I intend to try and climb with a platform with aiders or SRT gear.

SRT and a platform would be safe. No slack in the tether.

Glad to hear you are rappelling. I wish I could put a cam cleat on a solo scout, maybe I can. That would make moving a platform better for one platforming

Not really complicated. Just a fancy stick with a sewn two step aider

To my knowledge you are the OG of one stickin'. I still have not had time to get out and play around with platform climbing. I need too soon, I've been intrigued about it since we discussed it. Glad you finally got on the rappeling train. You use a one step or two step aider for the platform climb? Where/how do you attached the aider?

The standoff distance you get from a mini stick with EWO brackets is sweet though. Especially paired with the stick scout version.

True. I got a flat instead of an angled solo scout because I did not like the idea of standing on the angle. Someone said they slipped on the angled solo scout one platforming. The one stick with a cam cleat has less fiddle factor when advancing it or putting it on the tree. I will still be trying this platform idea because it sure is a small package.
