You can't go wrong there, S-7 tool steel is a little bit rust resistant and is one of the finest tool steels available. It is very high in shock resistance and is real tough but takes a superb razor edge.

S7 are out of stock so thats not an option only the standard is avaliable
 
I didnt realize they were backorderd.. I would call them tho and see if they have a more accurate timeline... you could also go with the tuffhead single bevel but I believe VPA makes those as well... vpa has been very helpful for me and I always get a person on the phone.. they are only a few hrs away from me and offered me to come tour their shop and if I was up that way on a sat theyd come down on their day offand walk me through.. they will also give you a coupon code if you ask them
