So I found this CamJam today while shopping at my local sporting good store. $9.99

500lb working load
Fits up to 9mm rope

So, Bare minimum. I'm thinking one handed option for lineman's belt. It has a release button on the side and you pull the tag end to tighten. Operationally, it works very similar to a ropeman 1.

But what about tether?

Any thoughts???

I wouldn’t use it for any of the applications you mentioned. Lineman or tether. The real question is, do you think it’s worth saving $50 over a properly rated piece of equipment.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. I know you guys are right. I think it will make a great tie down for my Jon boat.
Thanks again
