I built me a new saddle so I gotta have a hat to match. I forgot got to take pictures of all the steps but here are a few.

The round and round line are not perfect. The thread I was using blended in so well it was hard to see the stitches to follow. I should’ve sewn it from the bottom side.

Looks good. I'm not partial to the black rim binding. I would have left it fray for a more rustic look. I know, not GQish but more Jed Clampett.

I’ve built 4 or 5 variations of the style hat they all have seem to fit tight but this one fits absolutely perfect. I’ll post some pictures with it on tonight.

I was struggling with the decision whether to put the band or not. But sometimes I can’t help myself to make something look as stylish as possible.
