Can you use the kestrel tether line with Ropeman 1?

I just bought my Kestrel 2 months ago and have been working my system

I bought 2 Ropeman 1s

I’ve been using it on my linesman’s belt but now I want to use it on my tetger that came with my Kestrel

Is that rope thick enough to safely use???

I did the same thing! Bought two ropeman 1’s but thought i saw a post about people freaking out about if the ropeman failed while using on tether, so I hadn’t. I have it on my lineman’s belt and love. I assume the rope that comes stock with the kestrel is thick enough for the ropeman 1, 9 or 10 mm? Sorry I’m a noob

Well I did 3 separate practice climbs this weekend

I use the Ropeman 1 on my teather and it definitely seems good to go

I just tie a stopper knot about 6 inches below it but I’m really not worried at all about it slipping

At 17Kn rating I think it can handle my 170lb body leaning or sitting
