If I show these to my wife.

There is a better chance of my wife sticking that rod up my a$$ instead of me using 5 of them for a ROS...
If my memory is correct, at one time I figured out that 12 titanium rods were only around a pound lighter than 12 grade 8s. Don't quote me on that exact weight comparison but IMO the weight savings just wasn't worth $120 for titanium.
I remember posting the exact numbers on here somewhere...not sure which thread it's in.

Another downside of titanium is the lack of threads. A real bolt has theads that bite into the tree...less chance of a slip-out.
