I am running two full length lone wolf sticks with cable aiders and am looking for the best way to pack the sticks. I have tried the sides and using the drop down pouch but they don’t seem to stay in the drop down pouch. Any ideas would be great. Happy hunting!

First, I guess you don’t want to carry the sticks with an over the shoulder sling?
If you are only using two full length lw sticks with cable aiders, I’m assuming your only getting about 12’ to the top step. There are more compact options that will get you that high and will fit inside your pack (e.g. strap on steps, bolts, aiders only, wild edge, etc.). Or you could sell/trade the lone wolf sticks and get yourself a compact stick to “one stick” with. You could also “no stick” with just the platform and an aider.

If you are dead set on running those sticks with that pack, you might could try doing the Gary Blevins mod (threaded insert) to allow standoffs to rotate vertically, then slide each stick through the large handle on the bag with the standoffs facing out to each side and the bottom of the sticks resting inside the foldout compartment. You’d probably need to use rubber gear ties to keep the tops of the sticks from jostling around in the pack handle.
