Hello everyone, new to saddle hunting and excited to learn and explore the great outdoors. I’ve had a hiatus from hunting for about 8 or so years. Always used ladder stands never really liked them and as far as climbers go I never have tried them always been uneasy about those things. Anyway a guy I do business with was telling me he started using a saddle a year ago and it has been a game changer for him. I have ordered a Tethrd phantom with a predator platform and received the ship notification today it is finally on its way. Can’t wait to try it out. I will be using it on private land that I manage this season, but I would really like to learn more about the public land opportunities and the ins and outs of that. Looking forward to learning from everyone, thanks in advance for sharing your knowledge with a newbie.

Welcome from central FL also

Saddle hunting sure is saving my back from hauling a climber on my back to get a couple miles deep

Haven’t seen too many people using saddles on local WMAs yet so
