Changing out my Lineman's belt, tether, and bridge to Oplux.

I like to take my bridge off while wearing my saddle walking in so I have a caribeener on both ends. I use a Poachers knot tied to one and the other side has the Distel friction hitch attached to a caribeener. You could use a figure 8 and girth hitch it to the one side and eliminate the extra caribeener Or just tie the figure 8 to the saddle bridge loop if you won’t be taking it off.

Oplux can not be spliced... only sewn. Wild Edge is currently the only company offering sewn 5in eyes and they are only offering I think an 6-1/2ft or 8-1/2ft length only.
@DanO sells Oplux by the foot, but you will have to use knots to create your eyes... and he would be the best option if you want a custom length of rope.

Does anybody with Oplux tether and lineman think they could fit them into the mini pouch DanO has for the hunting hoist?
I just tried and I could stuff my Oplux tether with carabiner and distel hitch into the mini pouch - but it was tight. I wouldn't want to do that every hunt. Much easier to stuff both lineman and tether into a regular sized pouch together.
