Cheap Stuff that Gets the Job Done

Plush hand towel

In a stand now and between temp drop and allergies my sinus started draiining

without my hand towel I’d be miserable and loud

one side for balling up and coughing into

other side to blow nose

with a little finesse both are muffled to almost silence

just don’t cough into the booger side and remember to wash it

That reminds me. I buy orange bandanas at Menards and use them as hankies throughout the year. Come deer season i have a hankie for sniffles and a chunk of expendable blaze orange to signal with or mark things. I once had a grouse hunter trying to figure out if he was looking at me in a ghillie suit or something else. Orange hankie came in handy there.

Firecel+ and Tick Key. Firecel unit is a rechargeable white light/red light/handwarmer with low and high setting/phone charger. Gets hotter on high than any chemical warmers I've used. Tick Keys work great; whole family carries them around here.Screenshot_20201002-163843_Gallery.jpg

Does the firecel work well as a hand warmer?

Costco Trekking Poles, Taco Bell hot sauce and fazoli bowls are all awesome. Mora knives, thermarest zseat and the outdoorvitals pillow should get serious looks.

Would my 30" heliums fit in that?

Those are 22inch sticks on mine. Really anything can strap to the side depending on how you strap it. Plus theres molle all up & down the sides & all over which is how I would personally try & rig 30's. I think if you use the straps on the pack you'd have to play around to get a good quite fit, but yeah it's certainly doable.

To mark a trail/path just use survey flagging. It was literally created for that haha.

Best thing I ever added to my hunting gear was a $7 Broom stick handle that I spray painted green and brown ($6 for paint). It’s a third leg and fools almost every animal in the forest thinking I’m a deer when used correctly While walking. Only issue is, it brings the bears in. I’m serious every time I use it bears come check me out when I’m downwind.
