Considering EZ V sight and need feedback from users please

I shoot one. I’ve had it for just over a year. Shot a few hundred arrows from it and a deer. Some get it some don’t. I started with no peep at the same time. For a hunting sight I love it. It can take a lot of practice to train the brain and eye. Once done it’s fairly simple. For me it’s just felt more natural and less complicated. I used to draw, verify my peep to my scope then check my pin then verify again. After using the v on pro a long while. I got confidence with it. It’s really been draw, anchor , frame , then shoot. Anchoring consistently is a major part to success with it though.

Are u guys shooting 1 eye or both eyes open?
I have the evz, no peep, and shooting both eyes open and it feels so natural...I have my draw weight set pretty low so I am able to look at my aim point, draw the bow while my arms are down with the arrow pointed out at the ground in front of me, and slowly raise the V till my brain recognizes the gap and release. I never loose focus of the aim point...the V is not really in focus

I tried using the side without the tick marks but I like use the side with the yardage marks.

I shoot both eyes open. Just a habit from guns and transferred to archery. The deer I shot this year just felt plain good. No stress , no time burning verifying everything. I had a good buck pop up right behind me. I didn’t know the yardage. I just grabbed my bow. Pulled back. Framed it and sealed the deal. Perfect shot double lung arteries off the top of the heart. I like to use the leg as a reference for windage in the v and usually just envision a large kickball sitting on top of the leg/chest line.

I think that is 1 of my favorite things with ezv....I may still miss my mark but it is gonna be a vertical issue and not horizonal.....I pretty much lost all right to left misses when I switched from a pin sight..I don't know exactly why that gives me more confidence but it does for some reason...

Love the concept but reluctant to pull the trigger. I don't 3D shoot, just hunt and typically never shoot at deer over 30 yds max so seems like would be ideal for my needs.

I shoot with both eyes open as well. I also usually just miss high/low and it also isn't by much. I prefer the tick marks as well. It seems that I'm accurate with the pro setting out to 40 yards but I like to practice further and the ticks help with that. Also, I can use the tick marks to shoot grouse or other critters that are too small for the sight to function as designed.

Overall, I think it is worth it to try it. There is almost always one floating around here for resale. I would go that route and if you don't like it you could probably get your money back selling it again. That's the route I went
