Cooler cleaning

Ice water with hydrogen peroxide and then hot water with vinegar
 
Upon further inspection the cooler doesn't smell..... The silicone gasket/o-ring that seals the lid to the body is the stinker. It's hollow tube like structure and some how blood or yuck water got inside there. My experiment is tainted. I gotta kill something else and do it again but this time remove the gasket and clean. This is a Ozark trail rotomold

Yep, I read that people who use the instapot pressure cooker have separate seals for different categories of food for that very reason. The seals will absorb the odor and you can’t get it out.
 
I've used a sponge with oxiclean and then starsan on coolers before. Mostly because I have them as leftovers from home brewing. Seems to work
