Crossbows

Those ravins are nice but out my budget with honey do list of repairs around the house this year. Hmmmm new family room set of furniture or a ravin.

I would rather Aero Hunter take their time building the saddle. Also, as busy as they were in the summer and fall they may taking some down time for themselves. I may wrong but I believe each saddle is individually stitched. Cannot blame them if they are taking some down time.
i wasn't blaming anyone. it is just frustrating when you finally pull the trigger on something you have been researching and wanting to buy that now you have to wait "up to 6 weeks". i own a small manufacturing business. 20 employees so i know what it is like to be busy but you do not take down time if you are a producer of a product being advertised for sale. i doubt that is what they are doing. you need to figure out how to get more products produced while maintaining the same level of quality. not an easy answer usually. growth is a very difficult thing to control in business, i know, but it beats being slow.

Bill,
I was not trying to upset you if I did. I apologize. Just thinking out loud.

not at all. i enjoy this forum because of the willingness of folks to have discussions like this. The folks making these saddles need to be 100% sure that each and every saddle is perfect. if they fail, someone could die. my frustration is simply wanting to get "My" saddle now. i also bought the WildEdge steps so i am grounded until my saddle arrives. luckily the season is months away so i will have lots of practice time.

I am in the same boat

New tribe is not a huge company . They try their hardest to get all the orders out. They don't only make the Kestrel. I know when I ordered mine that had to wait on carabiners to come in. They were at the mercy of the supplier. They are a top notch company and they will do everything they can to try and help the customer .

Growing pains for a growing company. I am sure sales exceeded expectations. It is not hunting season anyways - maybe they are making back ordered aborist stuff that they have neglected.
I am a type A person, have run a business but we need to know when to be impatient - when it matters. . It is not September.

Also a huge impediment to a growing business today is finding excellent staff. I expect they are no different. I know many small businesses will not expand because of labor availability. Good people are hard to hire.

this last statement is absolutely the truth. first thing is can they pass a drug test. 1/2 the applicants are gone with that one

i am simply venturing a guess here but having ample inventory sometimes comes down to buying stuff way before it is expected to be needed. this ability to buy say 200 carabiners versus 25 may be a cash flow issue. as a smaller business they may just not have the resources to invest in larger orders of all of the materials that go into their products. and if one carabiner company is your main issue then it would be a smart move to find a new supplier. there are a lot of quality products out there like this. when anyone of us can go online today and buy all the carabiners we want with the click of a mouse it makes it more difficult to understand them stating that their delays are all caused by their suppliers. i have no clue and i am talking out my butt right now but my guess is that it takes a specific skill set and skill level to manufacture these products. a lot of workmanship goes into them, that is obvious. my guess is that they simply are tapped out, making as many as they can daily but the quality has to be there or again....someone could die! if this is the issue then they should say so. i get that. blaming a 6 week delay on a supplier for parts?? eh. now that i have said this...everyone just relax. i am not bashing these folks. simply posting some thoughts on the issue at hand. i will wait for my saddle in due time. i am up and bored so i am on this forum typing my thoughts. everyone enjoy the superbowl tonight.

From what I understand their main supplier was out of carabiners that they use for the Kestrel. That said them back a ways so they were at the mercy of the distributor. I ordered mine the very first day could order them which was in July I received it in September I ordered a size 2 in camo they are waiting on the carabiners to come in I could have got it sooner without the carabiners but I said no problem I'll wait. Everybody needs to be patient they will get them to you but you can't expect you to order one day and get it within a week. They are definitely trying their hardest.
