@Zero One Actual did you ever figure out the front pouch extension strap? Do you know where the buckles are sourced?
I did not figure out where they are sourced sir. But you can just order a set of buckles from Amazon like this search shows.@Zero One Actual did you ever figure out the front pouch extension strap? Do you know where the buckles are sourced?
Mine did it at the beginning, but it went away for me through repeated use as the bag got more pliable through repeated use.Just got mine today and I must say I’m more impressed than I thought I would be. I saw it at the mobile hunters expo and never even stopped to look at it.
I love that it rides high and tight. It doesn’t feel heavy at all and my predator sits great in the platform spot.
My one complaint so far is that the zippers for the main compartment seem to catch fairly easily on the material they have on the inside to help from keeping the bag open up all the way flat. Anyone else have that issue?
after spending a week hunting using my Popup 38 to haul my stuff around I came home and ordered one of these Escape packs this week. Can't wait to get it. less bulky, less weight, less noise, more smaller pockets etc should make it a major upgrade. I like the Popup and will still use it just not as my primary saddle hunting pack.
That's an interesting showdown. A pack that can haul a deer vs a pack that can haul a platform.
I can see where one would be preferable to the other, situationally. And where one would be superior to the other, regardless of situation.
But I've not tried the Escape pack, so I'm just speculating...It's got some upside.
Looking forwards to the review.
