Nice rig @BTaylor, are those the structured our unstructured pouches from CGM?
Structured. Same dimensions as a kifaru medium belt pouch. They will hold 35 feet of resctech with hitches and carabiners but not much room left after that. If you want to carry a rappel rope and use bigger or stiffer rope, I would have him make them a little larger. I am going to try to tallk him into building what we have been discussing.

He's got two sizes, I'm assuming yours are the larger ones?

Cobra saddle with standard side pouches came today. This thing is built like a tank. The standard side pouches have plenty of room. I can fit 4 bullman pioneer steps in one along with my linesman rope. There’s a pocket on the outside and a mesh divider pocket on the inside. I removed the standard zipper tabs and replaced them with 550 cord loops. They were jingling too much for me.

Anybody get any custom mods on their side pouches? I saw somebody had a couple rows of molle put on the bottom. Really interested in these pouches but I'm curious of what other mods ppl have done before I order

I'm not using these yet, but actually might consider them for my K4 pack now... I have a bunch of stuff from CGM, and I have nothing but good things to say about @always89y! Great company, great products, and great service! I would probably stay with the 9x7, but... I've had admin pouches about the large size, and that was way to big for me as a pocket.

I'm not sure, either these or the FHF Echelon pouches... IDK if the FHF would be tall enough for my phone though.
Yeah, I hear good reviews on CGM. I ordered a cobra saddle. This will be my first saddle ever but I really wanted to get the transformer but cheaper out on price hope I am happy with it should be in soon

How do you like that cobra saddle? I’m waiting for mine hopefully this week this is my first saddle and I was contemplating on getting the transformer.

I haven't spent any time in it yet due to the weather. I can say that it is built very well. I've hunted the last 3 years out of a H2 saddle and that was comfortable to me... this should be like sitting back in a recliner.

I used one last season. Absolutely love it. It's really an exquisite piece of kit. Super comfortable, all the molle you could ask for, secure, etc.

I'm probably going to add these new side pouches this year, but see no need in changing the saddle. The cobra is perfect for me.

just received my cgm cobra yesterday. very cool first time on a saddle. the belt is a little different then when I seen it on you tube and it has a bridge tender on one side but you can adjust both sides but the tender doesn't work, the tender ring is to large where it doesn't break the prusik loose to adjust it.

I just bought two of the Xlarge to use on my turkey vest this spring and then they’re going on the saddle for the fall. Paired with a bow spider system, I can just carry my sticks in my hand or the Sladder will certainly fit in one of the CGM pouches. Pursuit platform gear tied to the back of my saddle. Heck, I may even try climbing with the bow still on the bow spider. It’ll certainly be a lot lighter than climbing with the shape charge. The CGM pouches truly are works of art. I’ll snap some pics after sunup. Thanks @BTaylor, @Chrighton and @AttackMode and others for the pics and for the recommendation(s).

The amsteel Schwabish on the tender side will elongate after a bit and the tender will have room to work. It's just a matter of loading the saddle.
