That's a good idea. I do work for a pretty large corporation, and we have a legal team. I'm sure I could ask someone up there for there advise.I would talk to a lawyer if you have one to be sure you’re on the up and up

That's great insight! Yeah, unfortunately in today's world there are people who will turn it all for the rest of us. I guess you just got to be prepared for that.First thing you need to do is setup an LLC. Someone is going to ruin it for those of us just trying to help out the community. Better to lose the business in a lawsuit than get sued personally. I'm still working on getting insurance, terms and conditions, etc. For testing, I'm doing my own destructive testing to make sure I'm comfortable selling them to others. To get into certification, etc., its going to really start driving the price up. Gonna keep researching as I go. Check with Tethrd to see what they had to go through - that's a different story altogether though since the saddle is your life support system. If that fails, goodbye. For SquirrelSteps and DoubleSteps, these are to be used while you are tethered in or connected to the tree. Good luck with your endeavor!
If the step fails, I would consider you responsible. If they fall off the step, I would consider them responsible. I'm not a lawyer but I'm sure a good lawyer could argue and win the case both ways lol. That's great insight! The hard part I have with this project and selling it to people is if someone climbs without a lineman rope and the step fails, who's at fault? The company making the step or the person for not using the proper climbing equipment...

I do have an update! Sorry it's been awhile since the last one.Any new news??
That's not a bad idea! Maybe get an electronic signature so it's quick, and easy.Im not a lawyer, but maybe a release of liability waiver emailed to and signed by the buyer?
