I have been thinking about how to get rid of the versa button on my klemz platform so that I can get complete range of motion and better packability. This is what I have come up with and it is slick! At least it is keeping me from buying the Predator for a while...

I like this. If you used a daisy chain it should allow for more adjustment for the size of the tree. Great idea!

Are you worried about it pulling on the bolt one direction and elongate the holes or you think that’s gonna be OK

You may have just stuck gold buddy! How simple and fast! I will be testing this out when I get home. I wonder if amsteel will work? Bring on the weight savings.

I didn’t state it but I purposely drilled my hole flush with the inside of the tube face so my 5” grade 8 bolt is resting on the inside of the tube. I don’t see it being an issue.

Did you try it with the rope mod? Do you think this would work with climbing sticks as well?
