DIY Mesh Saddle

After seeing how long it took me to get this one done...can't say i do. I ordered the mesh fabric the day Tethrd posted the first pic showing nothing but the fabric and balled up size. That was months ago. Not to mention, without an industrial sewing machine I'm not going to approach the quality of the Tethrd Mantis or Aero Hunter Kite.

Crazy you mentioned “industrial”, a friend told me about an old machine he has in a shed that’s been broken for years... darned if he didn’t offer it for use if I could fix it! I’ve already picked up some mesh material and webbing; now it’s in my garage and I got to get this thing going.

Bro!!! That’s an older Juki walking foot! Awesome machine! I don’t know how much research you’ve done on it so far, but just so you know that is an actual oil pan in the bottom, just like a car. There should be a fill line mark somewhere in it. These are slightly different animals than regular machines. Nice score!!

What model is it?

Yes this thing is pretty cool, lots of things out of adjustment but I think I’ll get it. It’s an LU – 563
