Finally after hunting every week since opener on Sept 19th I got a beautiful healthy doe at 25 yards. Shot her with a 539 gn arrow with 100 gn Kudu broadheads with the bleeders. She ran 50 yards then dropped.

Congratulations. I too am still grinding for that first deer.

My first saddle arrived. Haven’t even used it yet. Hoping to successfully get up a tree and put one down.

What is it with you midwest guys and the strange white stuff in pics?! Congrats, just envious of your snow and the temps that go with it!
 
Lol it was 30 degrees with a nice fresh snowfall made it easy to pattern them on the go!
