I’m just wondering if anyone uses only the predator pack as their backpack
? If so has anyone tried to attach beast sticks to it with gear ties?

Negative. Can’t imagine that kind of weight working well with that pack.

Yea... that ain’t gonna work. It’s hard enough to pack beast sticks with a regular backpack.

When I'm not using bolts I decided to carry my sticks with a shoulder strap. I upgraded the pack straps thinking I could figure a way but with the predator post facing out there isn't a flat area to cinch them down and the doublestep makes it painful to mount vertical on there sides. Some guys show using the straps at the bottom of pack with sticks horizontally cinched. Tried that but to flimsy and they stick out. Was going to add the hydration bladder mod but just don't think it will be much better in the end and for 40 bucks its turning the pack into a late season pack which I already own way to many. The reason I bought the predator pack was for early season with minimal gear and no extra clothes so I gave up on the idea.

I carried 3 cut down lone wolf sticks on mine all last season. Works great. The straps aren’t the most comfy if your only wearing a t shirt but it didn’t bother me enough to change them. Beast sticks could be more of a challenge.

What are the two 1/2" straps on the bottom of the predator pack intended for?

I used my predator pack with my full length lone wolf sticks last year. I did it a few different ways. Two sets of two gear tied to the left and right of the pack, all 4 sticks stacked and gear tied in the middle, and strapped using the straps on the bottom of the pack. Nothing was perfect, but nothing was too bad either. I especially liked using the straps on bottom of the pack when I didn’t need to walk through thick brush.

Also,I did not have the upgraded straps. That would have made it much nicer.
