I killed around 12 I think but 4 or 5 were lost in the uncut field behind the woodline. They were flying very high today but it was still a blast. I met some new folks and got invited to come cook sausage at a private hunt next year haha

Weren’t flying much where I was in Louisiana, figured the hurricane pushed them outta here for a while. My dog finally got his first real retrieve though

Took the young’in out again but he didn’t have many shots. He is trying to train his dog but no luck for them today.

Managed to get 3 down today, could’ve probably gotten a few more but was trying to keep the birds falling where the dog could see them

You guys wearing eye protection? I used to hunt a popular area for doves and got hit with volleys of bird shot from across the field more times than I can remember.

We can't shoot doves here in commie NYS. Is an extra full turkey choke recommended for dove wing shooting?

Me as well! My dad owns a 12 ga light and a buddy of mine has the regular 12. My dads gun is so much better to shoot. My buddies kicks like a mule! I am still in search for a Sweet 16. Great guns!

I agree I use Modified in all my Dove shooting

Been handed down for generations from my grandpa. Now my son is using it. Lots of memories in that gun.
