DRT guys come in here lets play

@Rfd3218 .....I usually just throw the bag again to get over the limb in the way....simple solution...so far I have not seen a DRT climb that even comes close to SRT climbing as far as work required...IMO...might better just climb the rope with a foot lock....if making it more difficult is the goal!
Interesting video I'm considering trying.... to make it even quicker and less work.....nothing cheap about any rope climbing device!

I thought I would like the SRT and I did...however since seeing the DRT method and trying it I sold all my SRT gear. Like has been said...this isn't a method to use at zero dark thirty and coming in cold. This is a system that (both SRT and DRT) requires you to to do some pre-work. For the DRT, I have two different types of ropes...one rope where I will use a split tail as my blakes hitch or even the Schwabisch hitch. Personally I love the schwabisch as it slides up so much easier and grabs quicker than the blakes hitch. That and a mini-pulley and it's gold.
