Looking to get some dump pouches to hold ropes,a few carabiners, and then maybe a bigger one to go back of saddle to hold small emergency supplies and a flashlight. Any recommendations on pouches and other ways of carrying things without a big backpack. A turkey vest is also a option too but carrying sticks is a issue I may run into with a vest. Any info and recommendations are welcome.

These Creatrill pouches are nice because they get a strong hold tight to the Molle webbing and have a good containment that’s easy to operate one handed
Amazon has a ton of ideas

Tried and true pouches from @DanO give you multiple options for fabric and pattern, and two options for attaching to your Molle loops

Very nice! I’m going to order some of these and try them out

How good does DanO pouches hold up to abrasion and weather? I see their fleece water resistance is a big win for me so the bags and contents in the bag don’t spoil after being wet.

They aren’t all fleece, he has some in other material on there. I made some homemade ones that I used this season that held up well. The ones I got from Dano were better made. I can’t talk to fleece being water or weather resistant. I’m not sure if he advertises them as weather resistant or water proof.

If your saddle is getting wet then so are your pouches in my opinion. I’d take em off and let them dry. Same way I would the saddle itself. I don’t think these are made the way you are thinking. They arent water tight.

I know that’s there not water tight even though it would be great if they were. I started having to cross water more when hunting having to wear hip boots and then paddle a boat another quarter mile so water is something I run into a lot just mainly having something that is on outside some what water resistant rather than a rag helps with me not having to worry about having to dry something out quickly when I’ll be hunting the next morning. What way do you find that gets a good tight fit to molle loops?

Both of the pouches he sells come with attachments. One is a snap on strap type, the other is a small buckle type thing that you slide through. Each work well. Maybe someone else can describe them better for you.089A1B7C-07CA-4CB7-82CB-3F25D4C8B251.pngBD67406D-EE90-42C4-9778-ED768BCD81DF.png

I used 2 of these pouches all season. I totally submerged them once and hunted in the rain a number of times.. I was concerned about how they would hold up busting through brush but they are real tough and dry out quick

My DanO fleece pouches have held up great.

God Bless.

I like the one's from Amazon that squatch linked to. They are a little more rigid than the HYS Haulers so it is easy to get stuff in and out with one hand.

What material did you get on your pouches?

Timely Post as I did chat with DanO this past week. He was very responsive. I have an H2 and don't think the quick attach will work well because the molle loops are not flat (gaps open) but do not know for certain. Snap attach will definitely work but may flop around more. Maybe someone on forum can confirm. I am in WA state so we get rain and an trying to determine which material holds the least amount of water to reduce weight.

I use a tethrd sys pouch on both sides and a trophyline across back ,my lb an tether goes in left protein bars gear strap and scent in right ,lights knife reflective marking clips license and drinks w a pee bottle all in tl pouch
