What's the ideal use for this pack? I just bought a Kuiu Venture 2300 that'll be GREAT for hunts where I'm carrying a large load (sticks, etc.), but what's the point of a high-end/overbuilt lightweight pack where you're not carrying a heavy load?

I think this is ideal as my scouting, hiking, and skiingpack since it has the camel.

I’ll be hunting with it this year. Rope and a ROS as well as any extra clothing attached to the outside, thermacell, and other like items inside. I got into saddle hunting to reduce bulk and weight but somehow found myself getting bulkier and heavier with the each bigger pack I used. I went to one stick but then my pack got bigger. I’m trying to stay small. If your a minimalist this is a sweet small pack only worth it at this price. I hope it’s just big enough to work. Anything more is too much and I’ll just stuff it with things I don’t need. That said, I could just as easily use a cheap other backpack and accomplish the same thing. You should buy one and attach it to your other backpack, I think that’s how they market this one anyway haha.

You’re not going to make it as a saddle hunter….asking all those questions. You gotta spend, spend, spend! No questions, just spend. Lol. Seriously, it‘s a little larger than a camel hydration pack, but still small. Some use it as a scouting pack or since it has molle loops, as an early season pack. Good luck!

Yeah I’ve used it for scouting. Water bottle, trail cam or two, and attached a stick on the outside.

I plan to pass it down to my kids once they get into hunting. Get them started with the commercialized mindset early. ;)

You ask us what's the point? Why not ask why the bird fly, or why the fish swim? Saddlers can't stop buying packs and platforms just like the birds cant stop flying in the sky or the fish stop swimming in the sea.

I use a kuiu venture 2300 and pro hydration rig. The Kuiu hydration rig/stalker is a similar concept. It can attach to my bino harness, separate shoulder straps, or on a bigger pack. Super versatile and great little pack for early season and scouting. The dagger looks awesome and like it may be even better.

well, i couldn't resist. i bought one in western slope just now. if i can't stand the look it may take a bath in some RIT, but i'll likely keep it as- is. saw on facebook to use code extra10 at checkout, drops another 5 bucks off/ almost paid for shipping.

Mine came, very well built for the price. Camo pattern is pretty terrible, but I didn't buy it to get compliments from the deer. It has MOLLE type webbing or tabs pretty much everywhere so stick attachment methods appear to be plentiful.

Heres mine in Timber Viel. Think I should have gone Western Slope.

I carry a backpack everyday in my everyday life and my old 1 was wearing a little thin. With the discounts it was cheaper than a Jansport from the box stores. I took all the water stuff out and use for wallet keys pistol etc. IMO there are probably better options for a small hunting bag....but good quality and I'm happy with it.
