Expandable Football (no monkey)

PRetty much. It stays "pleated" until you pull either the top or bottom of the saddle. Then you can fold it back in. Its not automatic, but rather an optional 5 inches to deploy if needed.

Is the pleated one more comfortable than non pleated?
How does it feel with the football shape one?

That is dependent on the sitter brother. Some like a pleat, some dont. I like the regular football shape, but havent finished the pleated on yet. Waiting on webbing.

I am over here with half the fabrics that I need but are still waiting on the cordura and the grosgrain to start lol
I still have a lot to learn on the sewing machine though.
