Favorite Rut and Late Season Camo Pattern

I've found the best camo to be what's behind/around you rather than what you're wearing. If there's no back cover or branches to hide in, a leafy style jacket and pants is hard to beat. I've had deer look right up at me, stare me in the eye, shrug their shoulders, and walk off like nothing happened.

I predator hunt a considerable amount so my camo has to pull double duty on the ground as well as in the tree. The last couple of years I've been wearing Kryptek Highlander and from the mountains of Idaho to the Kansas grasslands to the oak ridges of here at home i have not found a fall to winter environment this stuff doesn't blend in with.

Most of my stuff is ASAT and Predator, but I agree that movement and scent are way more important. A few years ago I forgot to take my Camo clothing bin with me to TN for opening day of turkey season. All I had in my vest was a headnet and Camo gloves. I hunted in khaki shorts and a white North Face short sleeve button down shirt. Tucked myself in a clump of cedar trees and killed a big gobbler within an hour of my first yelp.

Some Predator camo in grays and browns or blaze-orange camo with gray and black twig pattern.
Or just some muddled greens and browns.
