and it’s sooo sweet. Doesn’t compare to my mammut 2.0 imo. I think I’m in love and not the lusting kind. I’m talkin’ deep!

I said it doesn’t lol.
kidding aside, the 2.0 slips on my resc tech as well as my htp 9.5mm. This is with the proper hms biner. For this reason,it would be trickier if you are trying to hang from it. You would obviously need an autoblock etc to keep rope taught. The safeguard seems to go up and down the rope flawlessly. I just love it so far

Was just using my resc tech tether in the yard. Plan to use on 9.5mm htp

It’s my impression that occurs with most mechanical assisted braking devices. What rope are you using in it?
I only notice it when its not on a rope. Once connected and weighted, I don't have an issue with it rattling that I've noticed.

My only real complaint with the Smart 2.0 is that the rope tends to slip. The simple design is nice tho

The Smart isn’t a rope grab, it wasn’t designed for holding a load, it just happens to with some ropes.

I have both the Madrock and the Grigri plus and I have to say the Grigri plus will be my number one for rappelling. To me it's just smoother . Also I got it on sale and couldn't pass it up.
