The SH Membership has gone live. Only SH Members have access to post in the classifieds. All members can view the classifieds. Starting in 2020 only SH Members will be admitted to the annual hunting contest. Current members will need to follow these steps to upgrade: 1. Click on your username 2. Click on Account upgrades 3. Congrats.
My first bow was recurve was an old Bear I picked up at a yard sale. The riser was split do my Dad dowled it for me. It held up for a # of years. I killed several deer with it.
I still have a recurve and will break it out every so often. Though not practicing enough with, I do not hunt it.

I got rid of my compound to go completely traditional. So this is all I have to hunt witg
Great job would like to try traditional. But don’t feel I have enough time to practice.

Truthfully I do not either except during hunting season. I keep my bow close to the door and try and fire at least one good arrow a week. And there's times I'll go a month without firing one just because of work. And it took me selling my compound to truly dedicate to doing to it. And I don't see myself ever going back. Try and find you one an old one to play with for a couple years. That's how I got hooked
