First day of the season yesterday. I took this 6pt (wouldve been an 8 he broke 2 tines fighting). I spotted him from my saddle, he was 60 yards away and bedded down, it was pouring rain. I waited for a bit but he was not moving so i climbed down and stalked the 60 yards toward him. Managed to get within 8 yards, took my shot and he onlt wejt 12 more before collapsing. The bow is a new Obsession FXL, 30" Black Eagle Carnivore shaft with 150 grain insert and 100 grain Rocky Mountain Switchblade broadhead. The broadhead was still shaving sharp afterward.

Cool story, nice shot. There was another thread recently discussing hunting in the rain. Here's proof that hunting in the rain is better than sitting in the recliner for sure!
 
My first year using mechanicals (both bow and broadhead).

I got busted earlier that day by a doe. Bastards posted a sentry up on the ridgeline and i missed her til it was too late

Yeah i bet those broadheads are nasty...i use the rage extreme 4 blade which is a hybrid like those just rear deployment....they have devastated everything i have shot
