First responder and military discounts

For vortex items, I deal with Sportoptics. They give vortex veterans discount which is the actual discount, they even give discounts for non military. Awesome company, just call them and ask what they can do, they usually throw in some free stuff (hats) if they have if you ask. Govx and some of the other sites are advertising the vortex veterans discount but they are only giving a portion of it (which I find disturbing that these places claim to be all about veterans while keeping part of it for themselves).

How do you get access to the brands discounts?
On some of the brands, it will require you to read about the brands and take a test and get a passing score. Others allow you to bipass the test. I can't remember if mystery ranch requires the test or not. Hopefully this will help.

Think i got it figured out. Did it apply the discount at checkout? Or did it show the discount when looking at the packs?
I can't remember. It has been a few months since I ordered anything from them. I believe it applies it in checkout.

Depends on the brand I believe, some are at checkout, some have codes, etc. MR has an individualized one-time use code that changes every 6 months (so two orders a year) if I remember correctly.

Tethrd offers first responders and military a discount. Requires a form to be completed that they'll send you.
Wonder if that offer is available after I already purchased...lol... Hell I'd settle for a hat

Can anyone provide info on how hood leoadventures is? How much would a sitka item be if I were to he a member?

That's hard to tell since each item is priced differently, but you get 40% off retail prices.
Sitka is 40% off for leoadventures. But if it's already discounted (on the Sitka site), then your leo discount doesn't apply. But leoadventures beats most of the other site discounts, even on new stuff!!

There are a ton of brands on Expercity that you may qualify as other groups too. I took a NOLS course years ago and get access as an "alummi".

Just make sure you search around. I've occasionally found brands like vortex cheaper than the discount they had on expercity.
