Folding Webbing for Linesman Loops

Can someone show me how to fold over webbing to make a linesman loop that stays open good? I'm not doing the style like most saddles where the loop goes vertically from top to bottom of the saddle, this is more like a battle belt style. Thanks in advance

Line the inside of your main webbing with a heavy piece of 1” webbing on inside of the loop.

Check out around the 58 or 59 minute mark of the attached video. This is one way to do it.
