I use the Michoacan with an eye to eye split-tail. I have this on my tree tether and my linemen belt.Anyone use a VT hitch on their tether? And VT vs. Schwabisch vs. Distel, just personal preference?

Do you find it a little dicey on your lineman belt...like super touchy?I use the Michoacan with an eye to eye split-tail. I have this on my tree tether and my linemen belt.

Go Cosmo hitch!
I use a Michoacán hitch on my tether....been playing with the Cosmo hitch and am learning to really love it.....Go Cosmo hitch!
I like that my distel hitch requires a bit of elbow grease (maybe 10 or so lbs of force) to move after being weighted (makes me feel more secure). A prusik with Oplux and TRC is too much grab though.
I found that Anything other than a prussik slips just a little each time I put heavy load on it from the ground? Maybe I’m not tying correct or using too long of cordage? Tying my own with 48” 6mm sterling on 8mm ultra tech. I’d rather have to work a knot loose a little than have any slippage. Especially at 20’
It's a michoacan hitch with a square knot in the middle of itI’m curious.
