Haha, every tethrd post turns into a roast  if they can get back on track, maybe, just maybe I’ll bite, but I’m very put off and don’t even like to admit I have a tethrd back band, I wanted to replace it… but it has held up 2-3 seasons!
Must be good stiching or glue. Lmao

It's almost like one of them stole your woman (or man, don't want to assume and offend anyone). We get it man, you don't like them. It's a little old now.
This is lame, and beneath the better decorum generally associated with this oasis in the social media desert. Even if you have a point.

I’m on my third hunt with them and so far I love them. I normally prefer rope climbing, but these are pulling me back to sticks. You be climbed pines and hardwoods and they do well on both.

@enkriss I just tied a single paracord loop through the pin holes on the top step of my final stick and use a kydex clip on my saddle molle and it holds them all on my climb. Works great

I’ve got gen1 but apparently no difference in dimensions. They stack vertically on the seat post very well. Use a few bungee cords, or the cam strap for the seat looped around the sticks and connected to the versa button. It’s almost like they were made to fit together.

I purchased my gen three sticks 2 weeks ago and they work great. I would agree with most of the feedback there. They are tingy and foot room is not great but all things considered they are the best stick I have used.

One issue I have not seen there is the quality of the attachment rope. I think it is Dyneema...?, It seems to be cheap and has already started to fray.
Love the attachment method but wondering how long it will be until the rope needs replaced.

I swapped mine out immediately for the vital ground outdoors ropes with weighted ends. It’s 1/8” real amsteel and they do a super job with everything they make.

Noticed that also and I've only had mine up 5 trees in one-sticking application. Definitely going to need to upgrade or consider it a consumable and replace often. With all the thicker the cord is I am not going to let it fray much before I replace.

Otherwise no complaints yet sticks are holding up well and working great.

I have the CG 3 step on order from them but so far I have been satisfied with the height I have reached with 4 sticks. That may change as the leaf canopy drops. It will be two weeks Wednesday since I placed the order and no word yet so I assume their 15-20 days to ship is fairly accurate.

I have a single step CAYG aider for the one sticks from backwoods mobile gear that should be delivered today or tomorrow. I wasn’t a fan of the 3 step I thought it was very twisty and unstable. Trying the adjustable one out.

Thanks for this. I’m keeping an eye out for these when their site reopens. I feel my Skeletors ropes will need replacing by seasons end.

Or you can order them here also:
