Gonna try Trad again Suggestions for a bow choice?

Ahh that’s differen!!!
They are really cool It takes a little work and math to figure out poundage and to get one set up but If your looking for a customizable slightly cheaper alternative to ILF this is a way

Or you can take a warf riser and murder it by slapping some sage limbs in the pockets like I did. It's been a very enjoyable bow to shoot.

Everyone I hear talk about warf they say enjoyable and accurate

I just watched some YouTube vids on it. Very cool if you already have he bow and you don’t wanna just through it in trash. Not sure why you wouldn’t just start with the ILF limbs though. Recurve seem easier but watching the video seems ILF would be easier to be sure things align.

Would be REALLY cool to take a bow from yesteryear that you killed deer with 30+ yrs ago and convert it to kill deer now!!!

My second year bow hunting, haven’t taken anything yet, but there is no reason you couldn’t take deer with a Samick Sage or Southwest Archery Spyder.

I’ve gotten into old bows and am using a 1974 Herters Long bow and a 1969 Herters recurve I bought from RMS Gear for <$200. Great place to pick up an old bow.

Warf risers are the grow-with-me stickbow. Start with Sage limbs and graduate to ILF on the cheap when you're ready.

You're not wrong. I have that other riser I picked up a month or so ago. Been contemplating some ilf plates for it and doing a proper warf. Contemplated a 35 or 40 lb bow for form and training. Would shoot some 3d tourneys but nobody does any shoots around me.

ILF and DAS bows are the ****z and you better have deep pockets cause these bows are like chips you can’t just have one. Ask me how I know and here are a small sample of mine B0DB8241-2D2E-4F67-974E-316F59DD6A2B.jpegF648ACD3-7709-4D94-8AA5-5E8D662FEFD1.jpeg6FBCE9D8-15E6-4298-BF6E-FA44AE1432E1.jpegB0DB8241-2D2E-4F67-974E-316F59DD6A2B.jpegF648ACD3-7709-4D94-8AA5-5E8D662FEFD1.jpeg6FBCE9D8-15E6-4298-BF6E-FA44AE1432E1.jpegB0DB8241-2D2E-4F67-974E-316F59DD6A2B.jpegF648ACD3-7709-4D94-8AA5-5E8D662FEFD1.jpeg6FBCE9D8-15E6-4298-BF6E-FA44AE1432E1.jpeg

I started with a Samick Sage takedown and 35 lb limbs. About $150. Light weight to learn form correctly. That or a Black Hunter are 2 cheap good bows. People consistently hunt with both. Good luck
