Doing my first arrow build. Partially because I’m really enjoying the archery path and I wanted to do more on my own and partially because when I started I had to have a lower draw weight and as I’ve increased the weight I can pull and hold comfortably it got apparent I was underspined. 70 pound draw weight, 30.5 inch draw length and the arrow is at about 480 grains, 14% foc, don’t have a chrono but online calculator suggests about 280 fps. I think I’m nitpicking if I start trying to add more FOC weight, it’ll go through deer and I think larger game if I expand my horizons. Worked on paper tuning tonight and I was really happy but I’m open to opinions on anything from setup to the tuning. IMG_4819.jpeg

If that is what your getting consistently i think your good. Now shoot at some distances and see if it stays consistent. May be all set or may need some more adjustments. Shoot with broadheads as well.
I bet you will be good though.

Actually...looking at it closer. Are your vanes evenly spaced at 120 degrees? It might be just the way the picture came out, but the vanes look almost like a 4 fletch with one missing instead of a 3 fletch. Just me. But then you never did say what type of vanes configuration you were running.

Maybe put 3-4 shots through the paper to compare and post that pic. It might be a tick off but on one shot that could just as easily be you. Gotta tune the bow and the shooter.
