During off season I found an old treestand and it had some of that camo fabric with the leaf shaped cut outs in it draped around it..I helped the guy out and took his tree stand down for him and the fabric came home with me....it's been sitting there in the corner and I kinda forgot about it....I seen it today and it got me thinking....I could have a length of that stuff rolled up/folded down small and packed away on my hunt vest very easily and I doesn't weight anything....I hunt from my saddle off the ground a lot and I was thinking maybe with some cordage I could probably easily make a quick makeshift blind with that stuff helping keep me hidden. Anybody else do something like that? Between using rope and sticks/branches seems real quick/easy to construct...
Then I get to thinking maybe having potentially loose fabric the wind may blow that stuff all around making unnatural movement/noise.....I obviously need to go play around with it but if u guys already tried and figured out it's a dumb idea/waste of time then I don't need to bother with it...
