Better in what way? I couldn't fall out of an Evo if I tried. They made them extra secure back in the day. There are a lot better saddles than an original aero hunter

Ahh.. I see. Completely different saddle than the flex. My bad, I had no idea the Evo had those.
The aero was noisy the others areBetter in what way? I couldn't fall out of an Evo if I tried. They made them extra secure back in the day.

Isn't your primary saddle a sit drag or is that someone else? I sewed my own saddle, designed like nothing else. I reported it on SH.I tried it. I guess we are all different. Some people do like the old aero hunter and some like the sit drag.
Not me. If your happy with an aero hunter great.
No idea what a yellow jacket is

I thought maybe you were using a homemade saddle. @ImThere loves the sit drag. Not me. I do have to admit, I like to try saddles and sell them afterwards. I keep the ones I love so I have tried a few. I don't lose too much in the process. Really all the saddles are getting pretty good and much of it comes down to preferences.Isn't your primary saddle a sit drag or is that someone else? I climb SRT so I sit all the way up on the climb. I sit more and stand from time to time to relieve pressure points while I am hunting. I am 175 lbs so I guess average. i will not spend a lot to save a few ounces. My pack weighs 17 lbs with platform and all gear and my saddle weighs about 5 lbs I think.I thought maybe you were using a homemade saddle. @ImThere loves the sit drag. Not me. Do you lean, do you sit, are you big or small or heavy or do you want light and minimalistic or do you want inexpensive.

I assume that weight is the saddle alone with no attachments.A small guy likely doesn’t need a pleat. A phantom is a pound. Most of the new saddles are two pounds or less. If you use Oplux your ropes are light

Yeah I've had the opportunity to own at one point or another the mantis, an older trophyline, a sitdrag and an h2. Of the ones I've tried the h2 suits me the best by far. The aerohunters look sweet but I haven't gotten an opportunity to try the flex, I met a guy who let me try his kestrel and it was nice, but I only got a short sit in it. I can only speak to my experiences and I'm hooked on my h2The H2 is a good saddle just some others are better. The H2 could have better linesman’s loops. And it is very comfortable and light and a reasonable price but not as comfortable as a few other saddles.
It is a good saddle. I have tried the flex and Cruzr too. I like the Cruzr best. I have seen a lot of great comments about it elsewhere too.Yeah I've had the opportunity to try the mantis, an older trophyline, a sitdrag and an h2.
