Hawk Any Angle Seat

I'm new to the tree saddle scene and don't want to spend an insane amount of money. I was wondering if the Hawk any angle seat would work as a platform as long as I take the cushion off? I can't really see why not. Thanks

As suggested, this looks like it swivels which would not be ideal. Hawk does make a solid seat called the Hangout that is probably what your looking for, though the standoffs aren’t the greatest.
