Hawk Helium sticks stacking issue

Used my 20” helium sticks last week. The buttons to snap them together are really hard to snap together and even worse to unsnap. So bad that one button snapped off, several others are on the verge. Anyone have that issue?

I did. Found it was sort of a known issue. I trimmed out some of the plastic in the female end. Works great now.

I have only used my Hawk Helium Mini Sticks 3-4 times, and I already have a broken button on one of the them. The way the others look, it will not be long before they break off. I'm thinking about switching them out to the Suction Cups sold by Eastern Woods Outdoors.

Good luck with CS sending you anything. GSM is about the worst company you will ever deal with. They know the parts are bad and just don’t care enough to do anything. It took me about 4 months to get replacements and that was with constant calling.

I'm finding that is a common issue especially with Hawk Helium. Their customer service and poor quality parts is what I always seem to read in the reviews.

Bugger to fork out $80 for a set of those suction cups though! Hawk needs to step up.
You only need a set of 2. Middle stick will have both male and female on opposite side. I used those and mounted them in the middle of the sticks. The old crappy suction cups turned into spacers.

How have you like them so far? Are they secure once attached? Easy to separate? I've been trying to decide if I was going to purchase some or not.

They work great. With a little silicone grease on them, they separate much easier then the stock suction cups. I wrap the straps around the whole bundle to help hold them together. I also oriented them so the legs stack to the inside for less chance of them grabbing stuff while walking through thick brush. I do need to drill a small hole in the female side since there is a pop sound when separating them.
