Headed to Guam for Sambar deer

Well finally got to start hitting the jungle woods yesterday! This was my view from the stand. . .

I saw a big boar but had no shot, and got busted walking out by a good buck.
This morning I hit it again in a different area, got busted immediately by 2 does. These deer are proving much more of a challenge than I anticipated, I thought that being charcoal black in color I'd be able to pick th.oir of the jungle easily but they blend in more then whitetails do.
A couple minutes later I spot a sounder, and I had the wind. So I slow move towards them and get to within 20 yards. Get a broadside shot and let it fly... I watch the big sow fall after about a 60 yard run. I got the first kill out of the way now its time to get serious in learning these deer!!!!

Still no deer. I'm getting close though! Saw a big boar last night and couldn't pass on it. He gave a good 20 yard broadside and I got double lung. Crazy thing is he still made over 150 yards, these pigs are tough, solid machines. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't having a blast out here running the jungles!

Well, had the string on my xbow malfunction and separate when I was drawing it the other day. So had had to order a bow press and new strings. They won't be here for a week, so to calm my nerves down I took a fishing trip today.
