Never really done much with forums, but the more I read I am realizing that I should have introduced myself at the start, so here we go!

From and live in Maine (added location to the Google map), grew up hammering tree stands together made of wood, moved on to metal pre-fab stands and climbers, but have become increasingly unhappy with weight and limited mobility of those, and stumbled across one of G2outdoors videos this spring and was immediately hooked on the idea of using a saddle. Was able to assemble a full complement of gear as of about 3 weeks ago and been getting daily climbs / practice shoots at height since.

I want to say thanks and that I really appreciate all the time, videos, and content posted by the members on SH.com, and well as administrative team – I doubt I would have been ready for the season if it had not been for the help of various members in sourcing equipment and content posted for newbies. This is a great resource.

Thanks!

Welcome from Iowa- my buddy lives in Greenville, ME and has killed a couple nice bucks out of a saddle hunting out here with me.

Welcome and congratulations

I thought you guys from Maine only use a 7600 Carbine and follow tracks. I’d love to go to Maine sometime and track. It doesn’t snow much here to track. Welcome from West Virginia.

Ha, sometimes. We had a lot of snow in the second half of the season last year, it was a blast.
