Newbie from Down Under, until now I have been ground Stalking my Game mainly Goats and Pigs, but want to get into hunting Deer, tried Stalking and using natural blinds with no luck, so it's time for something new, and since there are no gear or information on Saddle hunting (that I can find) here in Australia, I ended up here and are looking forward to learning about gear and getting setup.

Hi Chris, thanks for that - might have to take you up on the offer. Trying to keep cost down since I'm not sure how it will work in the Aussie Bush,
I'm using SRT gear and working on my own saddle so that side is sorted (almost) and trying to make a Ring of Step Platform but are not having much luck. Wanted to get the Bullmann RoS Saddle hunting Platform but they won't ship outside US. So I might get in touch in the new year and see if you can help getting one shipped to Oz.
