I have one. Never used it. Tried climbing once with my lw. No idea how that can be accomplished ha!

The SH Membership has gone live. Only SH Members have access to post in the classifieds. All members can view the classifieds. Starting in 2020 only SH Members will be admitted to the annual hunting contest. Current members will need to follow these steps to upgrade: 1. Click on your username 2. Click on Account upgrades 3. Choose SH Member and purchase.

How are you climbing with the JX3?

I use climbing sticks, SRT, and one stick with my JX3. When I use climbing sticks I leave the seat flipped up behind me but when ISR T and one stick I like to have the seat down. If you are rope climbing you have to have a short bridge because it is difficult to reach your hand ascender with a longer bridge. I stand on my top stick and use a ring of steps and feel thand feel that that is super comfortable for me.

I use Wild Edge Stepps most of the time, but use sticks on occasion. I leave the seat up until I’m ready to step onto my ROS. At that point I’ll flip the seat down, connect my bridge, tether in and step up.

Previously cheapo sticks (left in tree during season) with an aider but upgrading to WE Stepps. Tried a Knaider/Swaider a couple times (which worked pretty well) but I’d already invested in a 5-step Black Diamond aider. Will bring first Stepp in with me, leave two pre-set Stepps in tree, and three moves with the Black Diamond. Only moving parts during each hunt will be my first step, aider, and my ROS. Same process as Arkie re: when I lower seat.
